B2C网络零售商与PayPal如果最近关注过Overstock.com,会发现其首页有个特点:把PayPal标识放的很大,—-那一定是它从PayPal身上获得巨大甜头之后的一个动作。这家1999年成立于的B2C网络零售商在2002年纳斯达克上市,Alexa排名大概在500多位。

 

网络零售商和在线支付服务商被捆绑的比以前更加紧密。根据comScore数据显示,PayPalOverstock.com一揽子促销计划中,包括超过100美元的订单返15%现金,结果是,Overstock.com上所提供的众多支付方式中,PayPal使用数量大幅上升。

 

PayPal为众多网络零售商带来销售额的拉动,尤其是在圣诞节这个销售旺季。Dell.com曾在2008年第四季度,把PayPal放在支付页面最顶端,让顾客最容易发现并使用。美国之鹰AE.com也把PayPal的使用率从过去的3%提升到8%

  2. 这些公司与paypal的具体合作内容没有看到,仅从上述内容看,好像都是通过商家返现、折扣等方式进行的,有个疑问,这些费用是谁出的?如果都是商家承担,那paypal的作用在其中体现在哪里呐,广告渠道?如果通过其他广告资源去做这些返现、折扣等推广,效果不见得就比这个差。

    其实B2C网商与支付公司(包括银行)的合作,是很值得深挖,做好了,一定是投入产出比最高的销售渠道,而且能做到B2C、支付公司的双赢。

    呵 上周,偶然发现他们有live talk 服务,于是乎灵机一动有一个新的idea,我们是做音频视频类软件产品的(www.removing-drm.com),有专利品牌wondershare,而且wondershare品牌在美国也小有名气了,只是份额还是不够大,所以我想与overstock谈合作,当我看了overstock的创始历程时更加坚定了我的想法,即我们作为供应商在他们站点销售我们的软件或者把我们的产品完全作为赠品在他们网站捆绑销售,他们无须另外支付成本他们的客户既可获得免费的软件产品。想了马上行动,于是就与客户jade进行了沟通,如下为沟通的简单内容截屏,对方表示3天内回复我们。不知是我的沟通有所问题还是其他什么问题,时至今日,我还没有得到任何的回复。也许我太异想天开了吧又或者我的表辞呈意不够丰富亦或者真正能做决策的overstock负责人日理万机无法看到我的邮件吧
